Nature Index 第二版中包含的 82 种期刊占 Web of Science (Clarivate Analytics) 中涵盖自然科学的期刊的 4-5%，但占自然科学期刊总引用次数的近 30%（参见介绍指数）。Nature Index 收录期刊的构成和总数定期进行审核，目前修订后的 82 种期刊列表于 2018 年 6 月发布。
